MobileMonday is a global not-for-profit organisation that helps bring together industry professionals interested in mobile around the world through monthly gatherings and other online activities. The global site is at

Northern Ireland has a lot of companies (software & services) that already trade in or will work in the mobile space, bringing real innovation. Yet there was no organised community for them and professionals, so we thought that since MobileMonday does just that around the world, it should happen here too.
Our series of free networking events will resume on Monday 1 September 2008 (it's the August event, postponed due to a bank holiday on 25/8). In the meantime, do take part in discussions on this web site, click on the menu tab 'Community'.
MobileMonday Poll
We strive to deliver relevant and timely high-quality, thought-leadership events on the mobile topics of most interest to you. Please participate in our poll (on the top right of this page) to let us know which ones you would like our next events to cover in the next six months.
In addition to answering the quick poll below, you can also post comments or suggestion on our Event Topic discussion forum
Mobile Enterprise Applications
On Monday 23 June 2008, this follow-up topic to Mobile Web Services drew even more professionals eager to learn from our three presenters about the challenges to bring applications to the Enterprise market (large companies, SMEs and Public Sector institutions).
Speakers from Advanced Field Solutions (Dublin), Consilium Technologies/ TotalMobile (Belfast) and Vodafone NI shared their experience in developing and marketing such applications.
Advanced Field Solutions are the sponsor of the Irish Field Service Awards, open to all companies based on the island of Ireland, North and South; for further info, visit:
