On Monday 24 November 2008, MobileMonday Belfast will be hosting the topic of Mobile Payments & Ticketing.

We have secured a lineup of expert speakers, so delegates should expect the usual high standard of content and audience participation.

The Mobile Internet, Monday 1 September, Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast
For this fourth MobileMonday Belfast event, we were pleased to bring you three expert speakers with experience with the Mobile Internet from the software and service sides.

Our presenters were from mobile web developer Nubiq, the TLD promoter for mobile sites dotMobi and mobile Internet applications innovator Openwave.

Our new venue was the Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast’s Contemporary Art Gallery,www.ormeaubaths.co.uk/ located at 18a Ormeau Avenue (almost across from Katy Dalys bar). Everybody loved the inspiring space to bits.

Summary

The second MobileMonday Belfast event, on the topic of Mobile Web Services – leveraging web services technology in the mobile environment, drew a good crowd of professionals who had opportunities to ask burning questions to three expert professionals from Iona, Microsoft and Aepona. The experts shared their experiences on exposing, orchestrating and consuming mobile web services. Delegates networked over refreshments before the presentations and some retired to the bar afterwards for further discussions.
